Teacher sexual relationships with student

A female teacher at Leake & Watts residential center for troubled youths in Yonkers was arrested Wednesday, accused of raping a 16-year-old male student, authorities said Thursday.

The 34-year-old teacher, Meaghan White of Valley Cottage, is accused of having sexual contact withthe boy at Willson’s Woods Park in Mount Vernon, said Kieran O’Leary, a county police spokesman.

Other alleged sexual encounters between the student and teacher are also under investigation in Yonkers and New Rochelle, authorities said.
