Popular playback singer and anchor Rimi Tomy's mother Rani is all set to follow the footsteps of her daughter very soon. She has been reportedly selected as an anchor to host a new reality show that is in the making on Surya TV.
According to sources, it will be a music reality show titled Old Is Gold. The channel had already announced the show and it basically target the participants who are above their age of 50, and who has passion for singing.
Rani recently auditioned for Old is Gold in Surya TV, which is apparently the first music reality show of the state for 50 plus people. As per reports, Rani is as fabulous as her daughter and won the listeners 'hearts instantly. Being the mother of a singer who sang hit numbers right from the beginning of her career, Rani will not have to struggle to get tips on winning the show.
