Rahman (born Rashin Rahman on 23 May 1967 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) is an Indian film actor who has acted in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. He made his debut in Koodevide (1983), and has appeared in more than 150 films. He was a popular film star in Malayalam cinemaduring the 1980s, and had shifted to Tamil and Telugu films during the 1990s. He did make a comeback in Malayalam films since 2004 and has acted in supporting roles in Tamil and Telugu films post 2000s
